Whattaya Mean By That...?

Jesus told those pharisees (hypocrites!) that they "strain a gnat and swallow a camel". the gnat is the smallest of unclean animals and the camel is the largest.

so in other words, they were getting so preoccupied with the little stuff that they neglected the bigger (and more important) stuff.

we can do the same...make some things so "important" that we neglect the most important thing--loving God and loving people.
